What is your dream role and why?
My dream job and long term goal is to direct and/or be the Showrunner of a large project.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration in films, books, paintings, conversations. Pretty much everywhere. I’m an analytic and detail-oriented person, so anything for me could be an inspiration or the start of an idea
What artists or creators do you admire and why?
I came to Australia because I love the work of Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin. Their respective aesthetics are completely out of the conventional. From the US, I like Shonda Rhimes’ work, I think she is a beacon of hope for diversity on screen. They all have a very singular vision of life, and they portray that very well through the screen.
What advice would you like to give your fellow creatives?
NEVER GIVE UP! Wake up every day to breathe, eat, dream, write and work hard for your dream!
What is a quote or motto that you live by and why?
Make a move and say YES! Yes to opportunity, yes to new people, yes to new experiences. That’s my motto because I’ve lost so many opportunities in the past because of fear.
