What is your dream role and why?
My dream is to work in the production department of a network as a Producer. I love all the paperwork (I know, weird), the organising and the challenge of it all. It’s a strength of mine.
Where do you find your inspiration?
This may sound silly but, the people who don’t believe I can achieve my goals are my biggest inspiration. They are the fuel that keeps me pushing to chase after my wildest dreams. I am also inspired by my friends and family who have supported me from day one. They are always excited when I have a win.
What artists or creators do you admire and why?
The ones who pushed through adversary, failures and rejections to find their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
What advice would you like to give your fellow creatives?
Just do it! The worst thing that could happen is you get rejected, and even failure is a beautiful lesson we all have to go through. Lastly, believe in yourself, it doesn’t matter how many people believe in you if you aren’t one of them. If you don’t believe in yourself then you will always second guess what you do!
What is a quote or motto that you live by and why?
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” – Dr Suess.
I can’t pinpoint why I love this quote but there is something about it that inspires me to keep moving forward. It also makes me smile when I read it.
